From the time I was young, I was very aware that sex is something you shouldn’t talk about. As I entered my teens, I realized very few of my friends felt safe talking about sex with their families. It was then I realized I needed to know more and I began researching on my own. In high school I decided to go into the field of mental health. Once I started my undergraduate education, I discovered I had a passion for sexuality and sex therapy. I decided to attend a graduate program that would support this passion. I am now in my final year of the Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy Program at Lewis & Clark College and will graduate with a certificate in Sex Therapy.
As a therapist, I am experienced in LGBTQ++ issues, women’s issues, sexuality, addiction, couples therapy, and family therapy. I am body positive, sex positive, and Health at Every Size informed. I welcome all colors, sizes, genders, and relationship types into my office. I am dedicated to helping you create the change you desire in your life.
When I’m not working with clients or attending class at Lewis & Clark, I enjoy yoga (sometimes teaching yoga, too!), walks with my dog, outings in nature with my friends, or just laughing with my roommate. I strive to find a work-life balance that nurtures me, and I hope our work helps you find the balance that you are seeking in your own life.
